Koichi Sakamoto - 村の春 (Village in Spring) (No2)
A fabulous print by Koichi Sakamoto: 村の春 (Village in Spring) (No.2). A thatched-roof farmhouse sits at the foot of misty mountains, surrounded by trees just beginning to bud with the season’s return. Sakamoto’s cross-hatched detail lends warmth to the weathered wood, while soft gradients of green and blue evoke the fresh coolness of early spring. A beautifully balanced composition capturing the rural quiet of Japan’s mountain hamlets. 🏞️🌿🏡
