Shipping, Orders, Returns & Refunds Policy

Kumo Arts operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). This Shipping, Orders, Returns & Refunds Policy (the "Policy") describes how we handle the processing, fulfillment, shipment, return, and refund of goods purchased through the Services. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out in this Policy.

If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Policy, this Policy controls with respect to shipping, orders, returns, and refunds.

Shipping Rates

Kumo Arts ships worldwide. Shipping rates are applied according to destination.

  • United Kingdom

    • Standard delivery (2–4 business days): Free.

  • North America (United States & Canada)

    • Standard International (3–17 business days): £30.00 per order.

    • Free shipping on orders over £750.00.

  • Europe (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and other covered countries)

    • Standard International (3–17 business days): £30.00 per order.

    • Free shipping on orders over £750.00.

  • International (Australia, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and other covered countries)

    • Standard International (3–17 business days): £50.00 per order.

    • Free shipping on orders over £1,000.00.

Delivery estimates shown at checkout apply from the point of dispatch, not from the date of order.

Packaging and Dispatch

All artworks are packaged securely to ensure safe delivery. Prints are shipped flat between rigid hardboard plates. Larger prints may be rolled in a sturdy tube.

Orders are normally dispatched within 72-96 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and public holidays. A confirmation email will be sent once the order has been shipped, which will include tracking details where available.

Delivery Methods and Timelines

  • United Kingdom: Orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery or ParcelForce, tracked and signed for. Delivery is generally 1-2 business days from the date of dispatch.

  • International Orders: Orders outside the UK are shipped via Royal Mail International, ParcelForce, or another appropriate carrier. Delivery times vary by location. Estimated timelines will be displayed at checkout and apply from the date of dispatch.

Customs and Import Duties

For international orders, customs duties and import taxes may apply. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees and remain the responsibility of the customer.

Risk of Loss and Restrictions

Risk of loss and damage transfers to the customer upon delivery. Kumo Arts reserves the right to restrict shipments to certain destinations. If shipping is not available to your location, you may contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.

Orders

When an order is placed, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of the order. Orders remain subject to availability and confirmation by Kumo Arts.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to delivery. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

We make every effort to ensure accurate product descriptions and photographs. However, minor variations in dimensions and colours may occur due to monitor differences and the handmade nature of prints. Customers may request additional images before purchase.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that order details are correct. To amend an order, please contact us promptly with reference to your order.

Returns and Refunds

Kumo Arts reserves the right to issue refunds at any time prior to delivery.

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. Customers may notify us of their decision to return unwanted goods within 14 days of placing the order. Returned goods must then be received by Kumo Arts within an additional 14 days.

To arrange a return, customers must contact us for the return address. Customers bear full responsibility for the cost and risk of return shipping, including insurance. We recommend tracked delivery, as refunds will only be issued once the item has been safely received.

A full refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods, provided the item is returned in its original condition. If an item is returned in a diminished condition, Kumo Arts reserves the right to reduce the refund amount accordingly.

All artworks are photographed prior to dispatch to help avoid disputes.

Damages

Customers are advised to inspect parcels carefully upon delivery. Liability for damage transfers to the customer once the item has been signed for or otherwise accepted.

In the event of damage discovered on delivery, customers must contact us within 24 hours of receipt, providing details and photographs. Items damaged during unpacking will not be refunded.

As with returns, all artworks are photographed prior to shipment to establish their pre-dispatch condition.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in shipping providers, rates, or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this website with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
