Contemporary Woodblock Print
A fabulous print by Junko Hanahara titled 久しぶりに (It’s Been a While…) 🍺. Inside a lively standing bar, familiar faces reconnect over drinks. One man leans back laughing with his glass raised, another gestures mid-story, while a friend listens with his body half-turned toward the counter. Licquor bottles line the shelves behind, handwritten notices are pinned up near stacked dishes, and staff pour drinks, serve food, & check orders. Jackets remain on, umbrellas rest by the counter, and conversations overlap - the easy, slightly chaotic energy of people who haven’t met in a while but slip quickly back into old stories. A large and spectacular piece of small edition 10.
