Haku Maki - 76-25 Horse

Sale price£340.00

Modern | Sōsaku Hanga Woodblock Print

Haku Maki’s 1976 embossed woodblock print 76-25 馬 (Horse) beautifully presents the Chinese seal-script character for “horse” in a wonderfully balanced abstract composition. The embossed script rises from a textured gold-brown panel set against a matte black field. A single turquoise "Sun" punctuates the corner, emphasizing Maki’s dialogue between ancient calligraphic tradition and modern embossed technique. 🐎✨
