Fumio Kitaoka - サイロのある農家 (Farmhouse & Silo)
Modern | Sōsaku Hanga Woodblock Print
A fabulous print by Fumio Kitaoka: サイロのある農家 (Farmhouse & Silo). A broad farm track runs between weathered timber barns towards open fields, with a pair of tall red-brick silos rising at the centre of the scene. Crops, scattered trees & distant buildings extend towards the horizon beneath a wide blue sky filled with broken white clouds. A richly detailed rural landscape - an early piece balancing working farm architecture with the openness of the surrounding countryside. 🌾☁️
