Hodaka Yoshida - Kidorinbo

Sale price£300.00

Modern | Sōsaku Hanga Woodblock Print

Hodaka Yoshida’s 1958 woodblock proof “Kidorinbo” from his Primitive Series bursts with swirling abstract forms in deep reds and blacks, all orbiting a central eye motif. Sharp linear rays radiate across the composition, evoking primal energy and showcasing Yoshida’s early abstraction and experimental techniques. A striking example from his 1955-63 Primitive Prints period. 🌀👁
