Go Yayanagi’s 1982 silkscreen 青い空のような花 (Flower Like the Blue Sky) transforms his beloved Hokkaido into an aquatic dream. The island’s silhouette floats amid swirling and crashing waves, while two fish leap through the frothy surf - one central through a cartographic cut-out. Vivid blues and crisp contours blend map & sea into a poetic Pop-Uki fable. 🐟🌊☁️
